Sorry to hear that you didn't get the race you wanted, John. You persevered through the tough conditions and when you weren't at 100%, the lesser individuals would have called it quits. Enjoy your well deserved recovery and may you bounce back hungrier for more success.

ReplyDeleteGreat blog and great finish at IMWA. IM racing is all abt perservering through less than ideal conditions and u did just that on race day.
Noticed in your post that u participated in IM Lanza '11. I will be going for this next year and wonder if you could offer me any tips in terms of
reasonable accomodation
vehicle rental
how long to reach b4 raceday in order to acclimatise
general safety in the island eg going out at night
